Walking into ARMED is like entering a cute antique jewelry store where amazing hidden treasures are found, the decor and display gives off a very charming vintage feel. It’s a jewelry design studio shop where you can find flower crowns and one of a kind statement pieces of great quality. The Toronto based jewelry designer behind the brand, Desiree Girlato is a self-taught designer driven by her love of accessories and making unique jewelry. Although some may assume her designs are reworked vintage, the materials used on her jewelry are actually brand new from New York and Arizona but the jewelry are all handmade with love in Toronto.
Girlato’s creations are timeless and very wearable, you can effortlessly dress up a simple white tee this summer with any of the necklaces from one of her latest collections, Neon Lights (my personal fave!) or polish a cocktail dress and be bold with a beautiful arm cuff.
