Eyebrow threading is the art of grooming one’s eyebrows with cotton thread. Sound magical? Well it kind of is. Originating in India, this ancient form of beauty artistry dates back over 6000 years. Today it is a preferred method for anyone that is aiming to pursue the perfect arch. We were at the Blink Brow Bar Vancouver grand opening media event that has generated positive buzz.

While many salons offer a threading service, it is always nice to go to a place that specializes in brows. While at Blink Brow Bar they do provide other services such as full face threading, waxing and tinting their main service is threading. They focus on the brows and make sure you leave with the perfect arch that frames your face. Owned by the lovely Kiran, this boutique salon will cater to your brow’s every need. With over 17 years of experience in threading and esthetics, Kiran is dedicated to brow artistry that goes beyond raising the bar.

The brow grooming service takes roughly 20 minutes to complete. Starting with a consultation for the best shape to fit your face, the skilled estheticians go to work threading and tinting your brows into perfection. You also receive the perfect brow powder to match your exact shade. The cost of the service is $21.00 and you get to relax in their clean and well designed facilities all while sipping soothing chai tea. They even have a loyalty program – buy eight services get one free.  Can’t wait to go back and have my brows tamed!

About the author

I love fashion and style. What I choose to wear has become my creative outlet. The power of fashion has always fascinated me. It’s amazing how an article of clothing can elicit a full range of emotional responses from both the wearer and wearee. Not too long ago, I was introduced the wonderful world of thrift shopping. Not only do I get to satisfy my inner hunter, I also save massive coin while doing it. There is also such a charm to working with ill-fitted pieced of vintage item. Needless to say, I was soon addicted. The best part, the proceeds from thrift stores all benefit charitable causes; virtually eliminating any feeling of guilt, or buyer's remorse. I am my canvas, and style is my paint brush.
